Twitchy Twitchy Eye ya ya ya...

New symptom of pregnancy....eye twitching, but only in the right eye. I am not sure if this is common in pregnancy or if I just need some rest, but it is driving me crazy!! Not to mention I feel like ol' crazy eyes. I am sure that people can't see it, but I feel like it looks like I have a nervous tick or something?? I guess a measly little eye twitch should be the least of my problems.

28 weeks today!! Didn't I just post 27??? We got all of our baby furniture in and tonight we are going to get it all set up. The baby room is coming together nicely and though I am a bit demanding, I feel like I have been pretty easy on Dave. My personal opinion is that this baby room has been quite easy, however, I have mainly been supervising:)

I have noticed that every time I go to the bathroom Mr Bun kicks me the whole time. It made me wonder if the draining of my bladder repositions him?? He is probably all snuggly and then all of the sudden his home starts deflating??? I don't know, just an odd observation. I go to the Dr Saturday, but it will be a quick routine one, nothing exciting. I am excited that my monthly weigh in will take place in the morning instead of the evening after meals and snacks. That is sure to save me at least a lb:):)

BTW, I am in my third trimester...kind of a big deal!!!

Too much belly in the pants.

The Dr appt yesterday confirmed that my belly's recent growth spurt was most likely caused by Mr Bun's most recent growth spurt. 4 weeks ago he weighed in at 1 lb 8 oz and as of yesterday he was at 2 lbs 14 oz!!! Last appt he was in the 50th percentile and this week he was in the 64th percentile. I am sure there are months of more and less growth. He was moving and kicking and acting a fool. You could see his little body jerking around and then I realized he had the hiccups...I could feel them, it was so neat (for me at least). They say that babies in the womb are not annoyed by hiccups like we are, but I wonder, how do they know that???

When the Dr came in he did not even do another u/s, he said that everything was looking great and to "keep up the good work". If by "good work" he means feeding this lil man adequate meals...I can easily continue that.

I have noticed that I have been getting a little more tired lately. My heartburn has also been getting a little stronger. A friend of mine recently made a really great point. She stated that the end of pregnancy has to get uncomfortable and unbearable or else we would never want our babies to leave the comfort of our wombs. It is easier to take on the separation after it has been taking its toll on your body in such a harsh way. I am sure the aches and pains of pregnancy are right around the corner for me, especially if he keeps growing so much!!!

I will be 28 weeks tomorrow which means that if I go 40 weeks I only have 12 left!!! So exciting!!

His profile:)

Still a boy..

3rd Trimester or not???

As of yesterday I was 27 weeks. This is a borderline week. Some sources will say that 27 is the beginning of the last and final trimester, whereas others state it does not begin until 28 weeks. So I guess I am in my 2 1/2 trimester:)

Last night I watched my belly for like 15 minutes while Mr Bun moved all around in there. He is partial to my right side for some reason?? It is not super noticeable, but it is unmistakably him. It is weird and amazing all at the same time. Dave was asleep and I knew that if I woke him up he would be too out of it to even comprehend so maybe tonight he will get to see the Mr Bun Show:)

Today is the first day of spring and I am so ready for the warm weather to kick in. This last trimester is going to go by so quickly. I am going to try my hardest to take it all in and enjoy every kick and roll:):)

26 and counting.....

I have really been slacking with my posts lately!! It seems like things got really hectic all of the sudden. We have had so much going on in the last week. We have the baby room started and about 60% done. We were on a roll and then it all kind of came to a stand still. I know we have plenty of time, but I want to be able to relax once my belly is the size of a small country:) I have no intentions of being that woman who is 38 weeks pregnant and running around like a crazy lady trying to gets things finished (I believe this might be inevitable).

Our furniture is in New Jersey and should be picked up this week or next, so I am hoping that we will get it in the next week or two!!

I go back at 28 weeks and at that time the Dr will have me start doing daily kick counts twice a day. I am not quite sure of the procedure yet, but I have been practicing:) Then, at 32 weeks I will have a fetal non-stress test and will continue to have them EVERY week. I am actually excited about this part. You get to listen to the heartbeat and push a button when you feel movement. The Dr wants to see the correlation between the heart rate and movement. I have not researched yet, but I plan to be fully educated on the procedure come 32 weeks:)

Since Mr. Bun is in fact a mister, this week his testicles will make the journey to his scrotum, it takes a few days. I can already hear him saying, "MOM!!!" in an annoyed voice as if I am giving out too much personal info:):)

He's a maniac, maniac.....

Sometimes I can't help but to wonder if somewhere in the darkness of my womb the theme song to "Flashdance" is playing. Sounds crazy, but it seems as if Mr. Bun is dancing all around in there and running up my uterine walls ending in back flips and all those familiar 80's moves. I just hope he doesn't come out wearing a forehead sweatband and leotard:):) Just kidding...maybe I am getting Monday madness:):)
