Rebuttal

Fruit puffs are just as I thought...demonic puffs of fruit!! Now that I think of it, it doesn't even look like there is any fruit in them. Last night Logan ate one puff, no problem. He chewed it up with those two bottom teeth and swallowed it down. The second puff, not so much. It seemed like he was trying to swallow it whole and though they are quick dissolving, they didn't dissolve quick enough. At first he was doing a half cough and then a coughing gag. That is the scariest, it is hard not to panic when he does that. Before either one of us could get a finger in his mouth, he spewed everywhere. Once again, the vomit served as a relief and Logan just smiled at us like, "relax people, I got this all under control.".

Looks like the menu has gotton smaller:)

Business Man

Logan loves the laptop. He will stop at nothing to get his hands on it. This got us thinking...maybe we should use the laptop as bait to get him moving. He can go from the sitting up position to his belly (if he wants something bad enough).

Just checking the NASDAQ...

Almost

Got it!!

Teeny Tiny Bites

Last night Logan ate his first little fruit puff all by himself. Due to the trauma that the biter biscuits inflicted on us, we haven't been letting him near those little puffs of terror, but we realized that Logan had to learn sooner or later. We didn't want him to be the only kid in grade school with a liquid lunch everyday!!

We have been giving him the fruit puffs for a while, but they usually serve as a means for entertainment and not so much for snacking. What I mean by this is that he tries his hardest, but they never make it to his mouth. He picks them up and tries to switch them to the other hand, but they usually get lost in the transition.

However, last night, he put it right in his mouth and ate it. It took him a while to swallow it, but after moving it all around in his mouth, it was gone. And to my relief, he didn't choke on it. Guess fruit puffs are here to stay:)

He is eating his finger, but the puff is actually in his hand.

Where there is a will, there is a way...Logan ate his first puff!!

Self Serve

Wow, talk about a month of changes. Logan has been starting to feed himself his own bottle. It is still very much up to him; he decides when he feels like doing it and when he wants me to:) When he is feeding himself it is much more relaxed and leisurely. He might look as if he is playing with the bottle, but those are just air breaks.

For safety, please keep your hands on the bottle and your foot at all times..

Steppin it up

Logan has really been getting active lately. He could already roll from his back to his belly, but now he can roll back onto his back. He doesn't really understand this though. If he rolls onto his belly he will get all pissy and make no attempt at rolling himself back over, even though he can. If he is on his belly he can move himself in a big circle to get whatever it is he wants in his mouth. He can't pull his own knees up, but if we put him on his hands and knees he can stay up on all fours for quite a while...without face planting...always a plus:)

I am not done, he has also figured out how to put one foot in front of the other as if he were walking. We bought him a little Jeep walker and I think that has helped him get better at moving with his feet. He has been sleeping in his bed and I have been sleeping much better. My fears of him being kidnapped in the night are slowly subsiding.

It's a Jeep thing...

He is getting bigger and bigger. He weighs in over 24 lbs and he is wearing some 18 month clothes. I am waiting for his growth to start tapering off...it's gonna happen;)

Snuggling to his frog, his new favorite position.
